Little White Lies was BBC TV Drama's first all digital, wide-screen shoot. It is an adaptation of the first book by a very promising novelist - Elizabeth McGregor a 'break', Little White Lies was the composer's first major drama and his first time with an orchestra of twenty!

Little White Lies was aimed at the broad, popular audience of BBC1; major pre-transmission publicity was the aim. The Drama House always takes its publicity very seriously. A heavy spend on photographs ensured that the key image 'two women, one man and a white cat' was picked up by nearly all the Nationals, and a special photo shoot of Tara Fitzgerald achieved the front of the Radio Times.

Little White Lies was selected for the 1998 International Wide Screen Festival in Amsterdam, and won the gold Award for Best Picture at Flagstaff. It is available on either 2 x 1hr or on the single movie version. Both versions have sold well world-wide.

Little White Lies was a co-production between The Drama House, France 2, BBC TV and RPTA Primetime.
